Technology that gives you your attention back.
We build intelligence that quietly handles what should never have needed you — so your day has more of you left in it.
Your devices got smarter. Your day got busier.
That should not be how it went. Somewhere along the way, technology started asking for more attention than it gave back — more notifications, more accounts, more small decisions, more tabs. Every app got better at its one job and nobody was responsible for the whole.
We think that is a design failure, not an inevitability.
What we believe about your technology.
-
It should do the boring part
The things you do because a system needs them done, not because they matter, should stop reaching you.
-
It should know you without watching you
Useful intelligence needs context. It does not need surveillance. Those are different architectures, and we chose the second one.
-
It should ask for less, not more
No streaks, no nags, no engagement designed to keep you here. We would rather you close it and go do something.
-
It should work everywhere you do
Across the software you use and, where it makes sense, inside things you can hold. One intelligence, not a dozen strangers.
You will not have to learn anything.
No prompt techniques. No settings to get right before it works. No vocabulary you are expected to pick up. If our product needs you to become slightly more technical in order to be useful, we have handed you our problem.
The hard work is real, and it is on our side of the screen. Your side should feel like nothing at all.
A small example.
You get back from four days away. There are 200 messages, 11 of which matter, 2 of which needed an answer yesterday, and one thread where a decision was made that you should know about before your first meeting.
Today you find that out by reading all 200. That is not hard because reading is difficult. It is hard because nothing you use knows what matters to you, and none of it talks to each other.
That is the kind of thing we mean. Not a smarter inbox — something that understood the four days.
Sometimes it has to be a real thing.
Some of what we are building is software you will never see the shape of. Some of it is a physical object, because the moment it needs to help with happens in a room, not in a browser tab — and it should work whether or not there is a signal.
We only build an object when the alternative would have been worse for you.
Plainly: we are not in the data business.
We do not sell your data. We do not rent it to advertisers. Where the intelligence can run on your device instead of ours, it does. Where it cannot, you can see what leaves and you can take it back.
Be there at zero.
We are building this now. Leave your email and you will hear from us when there is something real — not before.
